SML Train The Trainer Courses

Training your trainers properly is of course vital to make sure your staff are in their turn well trained.

Our train the trainer courses are designed for anyone whose role requires them to carry out one-to-one desk training or to make training presentations to groups of staff. They can be run in one day, but a two-day workshop allows more depth.

We can train up to 10 trainers per course.

The 2-day in-house training course can be designed to meet your specific needs and is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). The ILM is the UK's foremost professional body in the field of leadership and development. After attending this workshop, participants will receive a Development Award (certificate) from the ILM.

Trainee trainers design and practice delivering a specific training session of their choice on the workshop. By practising their training on the workshop they can leave feeling confident that they have a ‘good training product’ to deliver back at work, as well as all the background theory they need for their training role. The course is highly interactive, with participants having the opportunity to design and deliver two training sessions.
