In our view, strategic HR is inextricable from organisational development.  In one of our case studies in SML News we have shown how SML has helped with the transformation of a large EMEA team from their roles as HR generalists and specialists to their more strategic roles as internal consultants to the businesses.  When moving to the Ulrich 3-legged stool model, we have also contributed to the skills development of new teams providing a shared service.
